Emily founded At Their Side after struggling to get timely updates when her mother-in-law was in a skilled nursing facility more than 2,000 miles away. Seeing staff juggle phone calls with direct care, she set out to make communication simple for families and efficient for care teams. She brings 20+ years of technology leadership across Big 4 consulting, Fortune 500, and public sector organizations. Emily serves as Vice Chair of the City of Long Beach Technology and Innovation Commission, where she contributes to practical, community-focused technology initiatives. Her focus is building tools that reduce administrative burden, strengthen trust, and help care teams stay present with residents.
